made these a while back and couldn't find the picture until now. Sorry, I don't have any instructions or tutorials on these cuties. Just the picture.

Here are some random crafts I did over the summer. I'm just going to jumble them all together in this post and say that I'm all caught up on blogging :)
made from scrap wood, painted, (some stained) and vinyl

Here is one of my latest *crafts.
I started out with a 1x8x15. I ordered my vinyl from Utah Vinyl. The flag part of this sign is done with a stencil and then just the black vinyl for the words. I stained it to give it a deeper feel for when you look at it. Then I just wrapped some wire around to give it a little something.
This sign was done with the letters being a stencil. I painted to board white, lettering blue and red. Added some stain. It then needed something else besides just the wire wrapped around it. I found the stars at The Wood Connection, put some holes in them and then added them to the wire.
I like how the stars add to the plain sign.

I just love Pinterest. It is an awesome place where you can find many awesome things to make. I was looking around for some Mother's Day ideas. I found some cute things.
I ended up going with this ladybug idea I found here for my mother-in-law. She lives in St. George, Utah and we don't see her very often. She has some great flower beds and I figured these ladybugs could make their home with her. And when we visit, the kids like to be outside and would get excited seeing their ladybugs!
This is the card I made. I found the ladybug on the Silhouette website. I used the same poem. I know Grandma Sherrie will just love these little guys.
For my mom, I found this idea. I figured she could put the bouquet of handprint lilies on her desk at work (or something).
The poem reads:
From our Little hands - we made
these flowers for you
To show how much we Love
and appreciate all that you do!
Happy Mother's Day 2013

I made this flag for someone who passes along all their boys clothes to me. It's a little something that I made to show her how much I appreciate it.
I got the vinyl from my sister, here. It's is a scarp piece of 1" x 8" that is 15" long. Sanded it down so it was nice and smooth. The painted part I did from a stencil that was cut from vinyl. I then stained it. After it dried, I put on the black vinyl - let FREEDOM ring. I sprayed it with a finishing type spray. Then, I wrapped some wire around it for an added touch - you can usually get that from your local hardware store.
wha-la! Rustic looking decoration! I think I'll be making one of these for myself (and maybe a few friends)

I found these cute birds at The Wood Connection. Their's were painted fun spring colors, but I wanted something I could display all the time.
I did mine the color scheme of my living room. These birds found a permanent home perched on a table.
MONSTER PARTY
I helped my friend put together a monster party for her son who was turning 1.
This is pin-the-eye on the monster. I LOVED. LOVED. LOVED how he turned out. Most of him is drawn freehand. His eyes, mouth, hands and feet are from the Silhouette.

what he could look like after
There are cups....
utensil holders (made from tissue boxes - got the idea here)...
they used tissue pompoms for the centerpieces with pipe cleaners and eyes (I didn't get a picture of that)

Okay, I know it's been a while since I last posted something - I was having a hard time uploading pictures.
Here is what I did for Tillie's 4th birthday party. I went with bright pink and green colors for the decorations. Tillie really didn't care - she was just super excited that it was her birthday.
